Gulf Building to construct headquarters office in Fort Lauderdale

Gulf Building will break ground on its new headquarters in Fort Lauderdale during the first quarter.

The general contractor will build a 3-story, 11,500-square-foot office at 1121 E. Broward Blvd. in downtown Fort Lauderdale. When the building is completed in January 2022, Gulf Building will relocate from its current home at 633 S. Federal Highway.

Gulf Building will house many of its 60 employees there.

Founded in 1991, Gulf Building is one of the fastest growing companies in South Florida. It ranked No. 18 on the Business Journal’s list of Fastest-Growing Companies – Over $25 million with revenue growth of 70.3% from 2017 to 2019.

It also ranked No. 20 on the Business Journal‘s list of Largest General Contractors & Construction Companies.

Its current projects include the LA Lee YMCA Mizell Community Center in Fort Lauderdale, Cloverleaf Park in Miami Gardens, and renovations to the Historic Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale.
