Marina Scherer is the Senior Estimator – Residential Division at Gulf Building LLC, where she leads all preconstruction efforts for the company’s residential projects. Having begun her career with Gulf in the Commercial Division, she brings a well-rounded understanding of both commercial and residential construction, enabling her to deliver comprehensive preconstruction leadership.
Marina oversees budgeting, estimating, subcontractor bid package preparation, document control, and procurement support, while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the preconstruction process. She is responsible for developing cost estimates, Guaranteed Maximum Prices (GMPs), project schedules, and risk management strategies, as well as managing quantity takeoffs, project financials, pay applications, contracts, change orders, Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawings, submittals, and permit procurement.
Marina holds a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management.
