Outdoor spaces include an exterior swimming pool, walking trails, landscaping, a pond, and ample parking. The Center will serve as a storm shelter during major storm events and a community shelter before and after storm events.

New Markham Center for Teaching and Learning

The Center for Progressive Teaching and Learning is a new two-story 19,322 SF building that will replace the existing Stacy Hall building and become the new focal point at the main entrance to the Pine Crest School Fort Lauderdale campus. The first floor will house student classrooms, including innovative Lower School I-Lab and Robotics, and a new interactive Library with touchscreens and play areas with a dedicated Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality room. The first floor will also have a newly dedicated Spirit Store, Admissions office and Testing and Security Office. The Second Floor will have a large Science Classroom with a dedicated prep room, a Security Suite with Training room, Human Resources office suite and a Professional Development suite including two meeting rooms.

The New Broward County Courthouse project consisted of a new, approximately 741,000 square foot civil and family courthouse facility in Broward County, Florida, with 45 full-size courtrooms, 12 smaller courtrooms, 18 hearing rooms, and staff and support spaces. The project also included the construction of new pedestrian bridges and minor improvements to the existing east wing of the existing courthouse facility. Experience acquired by Principals and Key Personnel while working with previous firm.

The project includes two new buildings, additional parking area / retentions areas and a skate park located on a 6.67-acre site in Hollywood. This design/build project entails a one-story preschool building and a two-story (ground level) cafeteria / (second level) classroom building. The preschool will house 200 children allocated into twelve (12) classrooms for infants to 5 years old. Additional features include administration/support areas and a porte cochere for drop off / pick up.

The site development includes a 70-space parking lot, a playground area to the west, a large playground area with running track, and a chickee camp to the north. Other major civic related work includes an additional parking area / retentions area located to the south to serve this site, and the adjacent medical clinic complex.

Broward County Security Credentialing Office

Also included was the removal of existing Credentialing Office trailers and demolition of the existing Credentialing Office masonry building.

The medical building is a multipurpose treatment facility including medical care, dentistry, physical therapy, meeting space, Culinary teaching kitchen and pharmacy. The Public Safety Facility is a 21,504 SF, single-story facility comprised of a Fire, Police Station and Emergency Operation Center with watch room, bunk rooms, offices, exercise room, kitchen/dining, bunker gear, 3-bay apparatus space and building support spaces.

EYW New Concourse A and Terminal Improvements

The Concourse A and Terminal Improvements project at Key West International Airport consists of new construction of a 48,202 SF open, modern, and efficient concourse building including spaces for gates/ holdrooms, circulation, restrooms, and support areas which will be accessed from the main terminal by an extended pedestrian bridge. Below the new concourse, there will be additional new baggage make up area and device, airline ramp spaces, and ramp equipment storage areas. The existing landside terminal building will be renovated and improved to accommodate an expanded security checkpoint with 4 lanes and added support spaces at the existing restaurant location.

New construction of a 104-unit multi-family housing development on Stock Island. The project consists of 103 one-bedroom Workforce Housing Units which will be rented by the Key West Housing Authority and one Office Unit. The project has three residential structures spaced around a 2.66 acre site to allow the maximum circulation. The structures are referred to as “Building A”, “Building B”, and “Building C”. Building A will have five units, Building B will have sixty-six units, and Building C will have thirty-three units. There are 125 parking spaces provided between the parking under the buildings and the open-air parking around the new road.

The Cloverleaf Park Project is a design-build project completed for the City of Miami Gardens. This project included the design and construction of a signature recreation center building and approximately 1.5 acres of site improvements.

The new 1,500SF recreation center features a community room, office space and restrooms as well as new video surveillance systems, Public WIFI and utility services. The improvements to the site include the addition of a new basketball court, playground with shade structures, new site fencing, landscaping and irrigation as well as the renovation of an existing parking lot.

6-story, 385,607 SF parking garage for 1,2000 cars. Located in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, the garage was designed for the future addition of 2-stories and a helistop. There is a separate parking area for supervisory personnel and County Commission Members on an intermediate level and a ramp that connects the garage with the Broward County Office Building through a covered walkway at the second level.

Indian River County Judicial Complex (Courthouse & Parking Garage)

266,000 SF, 3-story courthouse building with judges chambers and administration offices and a 600-car, 3-level above grade parking garage. The facility included an internal detainee transport system with secure stair/elevators and interstitial corridors; extensive security access control doors and hardware and an inmate/prisoner video and audio monitoring system.
